TSM2015: Promising Future
Following the ADSM-Workshops (starting 1994 at Karlsruhe University), the well-received ADSM/TSM-Symposia (since 1999) at Oxford University and the last TSM-Symposia at the Grandhotel Petersberg in 2009, the Hilton Dresden Hotel near the Frauenkirche in the Oldtown of Dresden in 2011 and the Hilton Berlin Hotel at Gendarmenmarkt Berlin in 2013, in 2015 the University of Cologne together with Guide Share Europe is hosting the twelfth TSM Symposium from September 22nd through September 25th. The Symposium will be held in the Westin Grand Bellevue in Dresden, Germany.
In the first Quarter of 2015 the Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) family of products has been renamed to IBM Spectrum Protect as part of the IBM Spectrum Storage software products. So during the conference and here in the documentation TSM and SP will be used synonymously.
It will have been two years since the last Symposium in Berlin took place and there will be plenty of Spectrum Protect (SP) related topics to talk about.
